Inventronics has released a new IP54 LED driver family offering OEMs extreme flexibility with the valuable and time-saving feature of wireless programming via Near-field Communication (NFC). The new adjustable LUN family simplifies inventory management by providing two constant-power models with output currents from 780-1500mA. OEMs also benefit from the added usefulness of the UL Class P certification, faster time to market and reduced inventory SKUs. Their Class 2 output voltage and power levels add even more convenience, simplifying luminaire design through limiting the power and no-load voltage.
The LUN-042SxxxDT(ST) offers valuable time savings with their effortless approach to mass programming while in-production to help streamline production and reduce costs associated with training production-line staff. Since no mains connection is required to adjust the lumen output, OEMs can easily adapt their existing luminaires to different individual requirements, providing even more design versatility. The LUN family can be programmed using the Inventronics PRG-NFC-D desktop programmer, PRG-NFC-H handheld programmer or any Zhaga Book 24 compatible programmers which allows manufacturers to wirelessly set the output current and minimum dimming levels.
The LUN-042SxxxDT(ST) is utilized with a 12V/20mA auxiliary power so it can easily be paired with occupancy-based sensors for added energy savings. The LUN-042SxxxDT offers isolated 1-10V dimming to meet the May 2020 UL requirements and a tight tolerance in the low dimming range. The series also offers flicker-free, smooth dimming to 5% giving it a consistent light quality performance. The LUN-042SxxxST series are non-dimmable models.
Both series supply an added level of protection with an input surge protection of 2kV Line-to-Line and 2kV Line-to-Earth. The LUN-042SxxxDT(ST) is IP54 rated and are ideal for panel, down and flood lighting applications. They are highly reliable and have a calculated lifetime to be at least 87,000 hours at a case temperature of 70˚C.
The LUN-042SxxxDT(ST) operate over a 90-305Vac/127-250Vdc input voltage and are approved to UL Class P, FCC, CE, KS, CB and ENEC which allows it to be used in many countries around the world. Production quantities are available now.
