Inventronics recently attended the IES Street and Area Lighting Conference in Austin, TX. As expected, the attendance this year was down due to the impact of hurricane Harvey. Our thoughts are with employees, customers, friends and families that have been impacted by recent weather events. Even though attendance was not as abundant as years past, there were still many noteworthy trends. Below are just a few we saw:
Intelligent Controls:
Controls continue to be a major topic among attendees and exhibitors. However, like other fairs we have seen, there isn’t a sign of convergence. This is where Inventronics Controls-Ready drivers can make a big impact! A list of our Controls-Ready drivers can be found here.
Robust LED Drivers:
It was no surprise to see that LED drivers were a highly discussed topic this year. New tenders are looking for robust products with long lifetimes. Inventronics has lots to offer in this category as our drivers come with industry leading surge protection and exceptional thermal management. This allows us to provide longer lifetimes at higher case temperatures. For just a few examples, visit our portfolio page here. (link: http://www.inventronics-intl.com/portfolio.html)
