Inventronics is pleased to announce its recent hire of John Silva, who will join the Inventronics team as Chief Quality Officer working in the corporate offices located in Hangzhou, Zheijang China. In this newly created position, John will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing performance improvement systems that integrate quality practices within the company.
“I believe John’s rich experience will help take Inventronics quality to the next level, enabling us to better meet our customer’s expectations,” states Gary Hua, Chief Executive Officer at Inventronics.
John Silva joins the Inventronics team with over 30 years of experience in quality assurance within a variety of industries including consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace and power semiconductors. In these roles, he has structured a “self-assessing/self-correcting” process for business enterprise movements, trained all levels of leadership effective problem solving and taught classes on personal accountability for over 1,300 people to groups such as Delphi Mexico, Chrysler Design Center, and Yazaki Corporate. He is also an inactive faculty member at Penn State University teaching “Executing Lean to the Extended Enterprise” School of Business and Continuous Learning Center.
“I was drawn to Inventronics because it’s a relatively young company, just at the cusp of breaking some big numbers. I am eager to develop a culture of efficiency, reliability and quality assurance. There’s a big difference between quality assurance and quality control. I want to ensure the company understand one common language for these attributes,” states John Silva.
