Inventronics, one of the nation’s top LED driver manufacturers is honored to announce their EFD-1K2 series of ultra-high-powered LED drivers has been selected for the Illuminating Engineering Society’s (IES) 2018 Progress Report. The IES progress committee announced the selected products during their annual conference in Boston, MA on August 9-11, 2018.
The mission of the progress committee is to keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world and prepare a yearly report of achievements for the Society. Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry. Inventronics EFD-1K2 Series is the first 1200W stand-alone programmable, Controls-Ready driver with an input voltage range of 180-528Vac that provides constant-power at a wide level of current ranges from 3.36-7.4A. They can fit in a multitude of projects in various geographical locations. They are ideal for high powered applications such as horticulture, high mast, port and stadium/arena lighting.
The series is a great solution for smart building systems. Their 12V/200mA always on auxiliary power is beneficial for use with external sensors and controls while the Dim-to-Off features allows for turning off the luminaire to conserve power. These features also allow them to directly power an Inventronics controls module providing a complete solution while bypassing the power and voltage restraints associated with power packs and AC relays.
