Inventronics expands their new family of Controls-Ready, IP66/IP67 LED drivers to include models supplying 75W of power. This is in addition to the previously released 200W and 240W models. The EUM-075SxxxMx provides Dim-to-Off functionality that facilitates integration with sensors or control systems to ensure optimal lighting performance. They also offer reduced inventory SKUs, increased design flexibility, simplified wiring for low voltage controls and a wide input voltage range of 90-305Vac to assist world-wide applications.
The EUM-075SxxxMx Controls-Ready features allows for a cost-optimized solution by simplifying wiring and utilizing the Always-On Auxiliary power of 12V, 250mA to power the controls module directly eliminating the need for a power pack. The auxiliary power also provides a transient peak up to 10W to allow for more controls, such as radios that tend to spike power periodically. The Dim-to-Off feature allows the user to turn the driver output off electronically which bypasses the power and voltage restraints associated with AC relays.
The EUM-075SxxxMx is also equipped with Inventronics proprietary Digital Dimming allowing users to utilize the 0-10V dimming feature to read back data from the driver over a Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART). This feature is a great option for those working with or developing custom control solutions since many microcontrollers have an exposed UART bus. It also provides a faster communication bus allowing for dramatic lighting effects which are not available in some alternative communications options.
The EUM-075SxxxMx is programmable via Inventronics programming software and supplies the full 75W of power from 700-2100mA. The EUM-075SxxxMG models are equipped with a global cable that can be used world-wide to help reduce inventory SKUs and minimize overstock and the EUM-075SxxxMT models bring the added convenience of UL Class P to allow manufacturers to quicken their speed to market.
They utilize a proprietary encapsulation process, rugged extruded-metal housing and are IP66 and IP67 rated. They also maintain an industry-leading surge protection of 6kV (differential mode) and 10kV (common mode) and specially designed to operate in harsh outdoor conditions and demanding applications such as high bay, area lighting and roadway lighting. They also help protect against poor power quality supplied to the LED driver, reducing maintenance costs and safeguarding the luminaire. This is achieved through a high level of protective functions, including Input Over Voltage Protection (IOVP) and Input Under Voltage Protection (IUVP)
The EUM-075SxxxMx is approved to UL, FCC, ENEC, CE, CB, CCC, PSE, KS, KCC and Independent Use standards.
