Inventronics has announced the release of a new series of 40W slim programmable constant current LED drivers for lighting applications including dimmable panel lights and linear lights. The LUD-040SxxxDSF series allows current to be programed to ensure a perfect fit with every LED design as well as being “future-proof” since it can accommodate new LED generations. They are dimmable to 5% by 0-10V, PWM or time dimming and have 2 constant-power models to deliver the full 40W at almost any output current between 350 mA and 1500mA. Each model offers low ripple for flicker-free operation and a lifetime calculated to be at least 96,000 hours when operating at 80% load with a case temperature of 60°C.
The LUD-040SxxxDSF series is ideal for operation with a wide variety of de-powered sensors and controls for even greater energy savings and lowest system cost, enable by the always-on 12V/200mA auxiliary power and dim-to-off capability with < 0.5W standby power consumption. These products operate over a 90-305Vac input range and provide excellent power factor correction (0.99 at 120V and 0.96 at 220V). To insure trouble-free operation, protection is provided against open-lamp, short circuit and over-temperature of both the driver and the external LED module. In addition, the slim metal housing is IP20 rated allowing them to be mounted inside luminaires for indoor use and Class II applications.. This new series is approved to UL, ENEC, TUV, CE, FCC and CB standards.
