Inventronics, a top LED driver manufacturer, is honored to announce their recently released EUW series of outdoor white coloring tuning LED drivers has been selected for the Illuminating Engineering Society’s (IES) 2021 Progress Report. The IES progress report committee announced the selected products during their annual conference hosted virtually on August 9-13, 2021.
While alternative dual channel color tunable products are designed for inside environments like office, school or retail, the Inventronics EUW series is designed for applications where the environment is more challenging such as tunnels, area, pathway and landscape lighting. Environments such as those may be subject to line voltage perturbations such as sags, swells and transients so the EUW series utilizes a leading-edge circuit to achieve a high level of common and differential mode protection. They are also IP66/IP67 rated with an enhanced encapsulation process and a proprietary magnetic design offering a smaller footprint over traditional drivers.
The EUW series offers independent control of color temperature and intensity so users can adjust the appearance of white light separately and continuously. By mixing the two channels, the EUW facilitates support of a wide white color tuning range to enhance the LED light engine design. They also provide the full 60W of power per channel allowing for superior flexibility. By eliminating the need to utilize multiple single output drivers they help to reduce shipping costs, labor and materials.
