Inventronics is pleased to announce they have joined the Zhaga Consortium as an Associate Member. “We feel joining the Zhaga Consortium will allow us to further provide our partners and customers with better service and compatible, quality products,” says Landon Miles, Inventronics technical marketing manager of intelligent products. “As a member, we can provide input to the Zhaga Specifications and define standardized interfaces to ensure interoperability of components. This also allows us to ensure Inventronics LED drivers are compatible, up-to-date on standardizations and easy to use.”
Zhaga is an industry-wide cooperation aimed at the development of standard specifications for the interfaces of components of LED luminaires. Their goal is to help streamline the LED lighting supply chain and simplify design and manufacturing.
Earlier this year, Zhaga and the IoT Ready Alliance announced they were aligning their efforts to proceed as a single organization under Zhaga Consortium. This move was made to join efforts in standardizing activities for sensor-to-luminaire integration and ease the adoption of a singular set of interface specifications while removing any confusion for the industry.
Inventronics is poised to support the smart lighting market by offering several network interface modules that enable any Inventronics Controls-Ready driver to operate on a vast array of lighting controls networks via a 0-10V dimming input. These modules help simplify controls and are compatible with a wide variety of network solutions and provide multiple options that allow the designer to apply the best fit module, network and Inventronics driver for their smart lighting application.
