Inventronics has announced the release of a new series of ultra-high-powered, simplified LED drivers to provide a cost-optimized and reliable solution for more unforgiving applications. The EBM-1K2SxxxDG are constructed to streamline luminaire design, provide superior thermal management, built-in protection and a stress-free installation involving less wiring and reduced costs.
The EBM-1K2SxxxDG series are IP66 and IP67 rated and offers robust thermal management with a unique mechanical design allowing for better heat distribution and cooling for horticultural and industrial environments. They have a high level of built-in surge protection: 6kV line-to-line and 10kV line-to-earth and ensure a trouble-free operation against output over voltage, short circuit and over temperature. They are highly reliable with up to 95.5% efficiency and a calculated lifetime of 100,000 hrs. at TC 70°C case temperature.
The EBM-1K2SxxxDG is designed to simplify the design and installation process. They are currently the most compact and light weight 1200W solution on the market and can help eliminate the extra costs of mounting gear and junction boxes while providing more flexibility in the lighting fixture design. They also supply a low inrush current (lpeak ≤ 20A @ 277 Vac) to allow for more drivers per Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) and provide a better fit with existing installations.
The EBM-1K2SxxxDG series offers three models supplying 1200W of power and operates over a 176 – 350 Vac input voltage range. They provide a high-level of versatility with programmable full-power output currents from 2.6-7.4A and multiple dimming options including Isolated 1-10V, PWM and multiple timer options for increased energy efficiency. They are also equipped with Output Lumen Compensation and an End-of-Life Indicator.
The new series is approved to CE, CB, CCC, and KCC standards. Production quantities of the EBM-1K2SxxxDG are available now.
