Inventronics is pleased to announce the release of the 2nd generation of the EUD DALI certified, programmable constant-current IP67 LED drivers that deliver industry-leading surge protection and extend driver lifetimes. They provide additional savings to the end-user through increased efficiency, lower installation costs and increased design flexibility. The enhanced EUD series consists of 96W, 200W and 240W models that allow the creation of hundreds of configurations via the programming interface, drastically reducing part numbers in inventory and removing the need to design-in a new LED driver for multiple LED configurations. The extruded-metal housing has fins to increase surface area for thermal management while maintaining a compact footprint enabling more creative freedom on luminaire design.
The EUD-BTA/BVA series can be programmed for DALI, multiple time-dimming modes and has been designed to meet future DALI 2 standards. They provide dim-to-off capability with standby power consumption < 0.5W while offering an always-on 12V auxiliary supply sourcing up to 200mA. This makes them ideal for operation with a wide variety of sensors and controls for even greater energy savings.
The new generation of EUD drivers implement an external over temperature protection for LED modules, output lumen compensation and a higher level of built-in surge protection: 6kV line-to-line and 10kV line-to-earth. They are IP67 rated (BTA version is also TYPE HL), which is great for environmentally harsh indoor and outdoor conditions such as street, area, bay and tunnel lighting.
The EUD-096SxxBTA/BVA series include 4 models of programmable constant-current drivers that can supply up to 96W at output currents from 450 to 3500 mA with a full-load efficiency up to 93%. The calculated lifetime of these drivers at 70°C case temperature has increased from 60,000 hours to 104,000 hours. The EUD-200SxxxBTA/BVA series includes 4 models of programmable constant-current drivers that can supply up to 200W at output currents from 700-5600 mA with a full-load efficiency up to 94.5%. The calculated lifetime of these drivers at 70°C case temperature has increased from 75,000 hours to 108,000 hours. The EUD-240SxxxBTA/BVA series includes 4 models of programmable constant-current drivers than can supply up to 240W at output currents from 700-6700 mA with a full-load efficiency up to 94%. The calculated lifetime of these drivers at 70°C case temperature has been increased to 83,000 hours.
This new family is approved to DALI, UL, FCC, ENEC, CCC, PES, CE, KS, PSE, Global Mark and CB standards. Production quantities of the EUD-096SxxxBTA/BVA, EUD-200SxxxBTA/BVA and EUD-240SxxxBTA/BVA series are available now.
