Inventronics has announced the release of their 2nd generation EUR family of round, programmable LED drivers with a more compact form factor, isolated dimming and added convenience of Dim-to-Low Voltage (DTLV). The resilient, round patented metal case ensures a streamlined appearance and higher level of reliability that makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor applications such as industrial, warehouse and sports arena lighting. The EUR-160 and 250 DG/SG models also minimize inventory by utilizing the global cable to reduce the number of SKUs needed for various applications while the EUR-160 and 250 DT/ST models are UL Class P certified to avoid any delay costs on new luminaire designs.
The 2nd generation EUR-160SxxxDx/Sx and EUR-250SxxxDx/Sx series of drivers provide design versatility with adjustable output currents through programmability (DG/DT) or potentiometer (SG/ST). Both series operate over a 90-305Vac input range for worldwide lighting applications. The EUR-160SxxxDx/Sx offer an adjustable output current with constant-power models that deliver the full 160W at an output current range between 3000 and 4200mA. The EUR-250SxxxDx/Sx offer an adjustable output current with constant-power models that deliver the full 250W at an output current range between 4600 and 6700mA.
To deliver even more design flexibility, the new EUR family provides multiple isolated dimming options such as 1-10V, 10V PWM and multiple timers (DG/DT), as well as, non-dimming models (SG/ST). For increased energy savings, the EUR DG/DT models also provide DTLV which is selectable through Inventronics programming software. Since it is selectable and not always on, it provides OEMs a flexible solution to utilize only in the applications they choose. The DTLV mode facilitates luminaire design that can turn off the light engine without the output voltage dropping all the way to 0V. The unique compact shape is easily integrated on the top of high bay light fixtures resulting in a simplified installation. With a variety of mounting options and color options, you can give your fixture a sleeker and more streamlined appearance.
The 2nd generation EUR product family are IP65 rated and offers a higher level of built-in surge protection of 6 kV line-to-line and 6 kV line-to-earth, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection which helps extend the life of the driver, therefore extending the life of the luminaire. The enhanced thermal design gives them higher efficiency (up to 92.5%) and a longer lifetime up to 106,000 hours at a case temperature of 70°C, giving them an edge over the competition.
They are equipped with SELV output, suitable for independent use, certified for UL Dry/Damp/Wet Location and are TYPE HL for use in Class I, Division 2 Hazardous (Classified) locations. The new EUR-DG/SG series is approved to UL, FCC, CE, ENEC, CB and CCC standards. The new EUR-DT/ST series is approved to UL Class P, FCC, CE and NOM standards.
